ISO 14001:2015 · Certified since 2020

Movistar El Salvador has maintained ISO 14001:2015 certification for its environmental management system since 2020, with certification and audits carried out by AENOR. The system supports efficient resource use, responsible waste management and continuous improvement across its operations.

In 2024, Movistar measured its carbon footprint at 1,281.67 tonnes of CO₂, establishing a baseline to guide future management and mitigation decisions.

Cambiá a Verde

Cambiá a Verde promotes the collection and responsible management of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Since its launch, the programme has collected more than 49,000 pounds of electronic waste through permanent collection points at Movistar stores and collection drives with businesses, universities and partner organisations.
