With 28 years of operations in El Salvador, Movistar provides telecommunications services and connectivity solutions for individuals and businesses in the Salvadoran market. It became part of GIT in January 2022 following the acquisition of Telefónica Móviles El Salvador.
Since then, Movistar has continued to modernise its network, introducing 5G Ready infrastructure, expanding LTE coverage, adding spectrum in the AWS band and upgrading its transport and IP networks.
