General International Telecom El Salvador, S.A. de C.V. (GITES) has signed a definitive agreement with Digicel Group to acquire its operations in El Salvador. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the necessary regulatory approvals.
San Salvador, August 2026. The nationwide “From Waste to Results” recycling drive concluded with the collection of six tonnes of electronic waste. The campaign has become one of El Salvador’s most significant collaborative initiatives to promote the responsible management of electronic devices and strengthen the country’s culture of sustainability.
